How to check links on a web site that is online

VSE Link Tester allows you to check your web pages on your web server and it also allows you to check your web pages on your hard disk, i. e. VSE Link Tester is a link checker that works online and offline.

To check the web pages on your web server, do the following:

1. Launch VSE Link Tester by double-clicking the VSE Link Tester icon in the Finder.
2. Click the "New URL" button.
3. Enter the URL of your web site. Normally, the URL should look something like this: "http://www.mysite.com/index.html".
4. Press the "OK" button.
5. Press the "Start Link Test" button.

VSE Link Tester starts to test the links on your web site. If you are using the demo version or the standard version of VSE Link Tester, you can enter only one URL or link in VSE Link Tester.

If there already is a link in the VSE Link Tester list, you cannot add a new one (in the Standard version of VSE Link Tester). In that case, click the "Edit Link" button to enter a new URL. You can also remove the link by clicking on the "Remove Link" button and then click the "New URL" button. The Business version allows you to enter as many URLs as you want in the main window of VSE Link Tester.
